Twenty years ago when Damanhur first came to my awareness I invited them to present their vision at the Edgar Cayce Center in Manhattan.

When the event was over I knew that the future of Enlightened Living would be in small nature based communities around the world.

Since then, that’s exactly what’s happened.

In the past few years I’ve explored a half dozen eco-communities around the world, all of which are impressive in their own ways, and filled with individuals, whom I now consider allies on the path.

However, while I admire them all, I can finally say that I’ve found one that I resonate with the most.

When I met the developer of Xho in Bacalar (incidentally the only developer I’ve met who is a woman) I discovered a different vibration, and commitment to communal living and healing.

We had dinner, our families swam in the laguna together, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of what they were creating.

Since hosting the largest crystal skull gathering ever in Manhattan for the end of the Mayan Calendar in 2012, I have always had a strong connection with the Mexican people. Their culture is magnificent, their depth unmatched, and their open hearts second to none.

The Bacalar laguna is also a paradise, and I will certainly be offering a retreat there at some point in the future.

When I was chronically ill for over a decade, and in desperate need of a silver bullet, I found it in Aphaeresis.
